World Mental Health Awareness Day
Mon 10 Oct 2022On Monday we celebrated World Mental Health Awareness Day and wore 'Yellow' to support the charity Young Minds. It was lovely to see so many pupils wearing yellow and as a school, highlighting the importance about how we feel matters! All pupils took part in a range of activities throughout the day linked to supporting and maintaining their own wellbeing and mental health.

# Hello Yellow

Her dedication to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and to her other realms and territories is unparalleled and we thank her for her service. Our schools and The Primary First Trust will observe the mourning period but will remain fully open and continue to support our pupils, families and staff.

Gravesham Foodbank
Mon 16 May 2022Yesterday we visited the Food Bank in Gravesham. We delivered the food which has been donated by you!
While we were there, we leant how the Food Bank supports families, how people can find out about the Food Bank and how the food is organised.
We are still collecting donations for the Food Bank. If you would like to donate, please bring your donations to the 'Donation Station' which is outside of Badger Class. They are in particular need of canned meats and milk.

Sitting Volleyball
Fri 18 Mar 2022On Monday 28th February, a group of children from Orca Class travelled to Dartford to take part in a Sitting Volleyball festival. They learnt how to play the game and by the end of the session, were playing 6 minute games against other schools. The children demonstrated excellent sportmanship, played effectively as a team, worked cooperatively with children from other schools in the area and, most importantly enjoyed themselves.
We were incredibly proud of the way the children demonstrated our school values during this event. Courage, joy, curiosity, creativity and empowerment were shown by all children involved and made the event enjoyable and rewarding for all.

World Book Day
Thu 03 Mar 2022To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March, children at Springhead Park Primary School are invited to dress up as a character from their favourite book.
We would love to see homemade costumes and do not expect parents to go to the expense of buying new ones. This will be a fun-filled occasion, bursting with literature based activities throughout the day!

Top of the Rocks

All our trust schools are asking children to answer as many questions as possible on TT Rockstars / Numbots. * The winning class will have the highest number of correct answers per pupil * Let this be Springhead Park - may the battle begin!
