Uniform Information

At Springhead Park Primary School, we believe that a school uniform is important, and that our children should be proud of the school they belong to. We ask that all children wear the uniform and we encourage them to maintain a good standard of clean and tidy dress in school.

Additional Information

Shoes should be sensible, sturdy and suitable for school.  Unless a child can manage laces by themselves, these should be slip on with elastic or Velcro fastenings.  No boots to be worn above the ankle, trainers, high heels or flip flops are not to be worn.

In the interest of safety, no jewellery may be worn in school and should be left at home.  Small, plain stud earrings for pierced ears are acceptable, but must be removed for PE lessons.

Make Up, Nail polish and acrylic / gel nails are not to be worn in school.

We would request that hair accessories should be of a small and simple design and in school colours.  Children with long hair should wear it fastened back.  

Children should always have access to an outside coat even in the summer months.  Pacamacs or Kagoules are acceptable.  Please also ensure that your child has a hat during hot weather.

Everything a child wears needs to be marked with their name,

especially jumpers and cardigans

Pre-loved (second hand) Uniform Sales

The Friends of Springhead Park Primary (FOSPP) also sell pre-loved uniforms at least once per term.

We are very conscious about climate change and this is a great way to recycle clothes which our children have outgrown as well as making them more affordable for our families. There are no set prices for the items sold, the FOSPP would ask that people purchasing uniform items make a donation which is affordable and reasonable.

Details of pre-loved sales will be shared via email and on the school's social media, though we aim to hold the sales in the final week of each term.

If you would like to donate items which can be sold in this way, please ensure that they are washed before passing them to the school office. Donation of the following items will be gratefully received:
