Tapestry and Reading Books 

We use the programme 'Tapestry' to share the children's learning and achievements in school. Through this platform, you can access your child's journal and contribute by sharing activities they engage in outside of school. Tis could include photos, videos, your child's early writing attempts, or any other moments you'd like to share. 

Every Friday, we will send a newsletter to your email with important updates, details of upcoming events, and photos of our weekly learning. The newsletter will also include information about the topics we will be covering following week. 

Your child will receive a school book every Friday. Please read and explore it with them, then return it to the class team member by Wednesday. 

Other Information 

• Our session times are 09:00-12:00, 12:30-15:30 or 09:00-15:30. 
• Please provide a spare set of clothes for your child which can stay in Nursery on their peg. 
• We go out in all weathers in Nursery and encourage messy play therefore children should have named wellies and coats to wear for water and messy play outside. 
• Please can we ask that children do not bring their own toys into class, if they want to bring something to school to settle them, please ensure that you take it home with you, so it stays safe and doesn't get broken or lost. 
• We want your child to settle quickly and enjoy their time at Springhead Park Primary School. Please let us know of any concerns or questions you may have to help us do this.
