Reward System

At Springhead Park Primary, we want to reward children who are dedicated to reading at home.

According to how many individual reads at home your child has completed, there are different rewards your child can receive. There are 5 different reading levels that your child can work towards, each with a different reward when they are completed.

Bronze level – 25 reads

Silver level – 50 reads

Gold level – 100 reads

Platinum level - 150 reads

Diamond level - 200 reads

There will be a tracker in the back of your child’s reading record to keep a record of how many individual reads they have completed and how close they are to completing a new level. This incentive should help to motivate your child to read at home for pleasure.
