The curriculum at Springhead Park is designed to provide access and opportunity for all children. High quality teaching and learning enables children to access the curriculum effectively and progressively. We recognise that each pupils’ learning journey may differ and where additional support is needed, short term targeted support is put in place. If a child has a special educational need or disability, our school does all it can to meet these individual needs. Our provision complies with the requirements set out in the SEND Code of Practice [2015]. In most instances, if a concern arises suggesting that a child may have special educational needs, the teacher is able to provide resources and educational opportunities which meet these needs within the normal class organisation and continue to provide quality first teaching.
