Community Use of the School Facilities

At Springhead Park Primary, we are fortunate to have such fantastic facilities and we would like to share those facilities with the community here too. Our Aims are to:

• Encourage the facilities to be widely used by the community
• Encourage positive attitudes in sport and physical activity 
• Create links between the school, sports clubs and other organisations
• Be inclusive to all parts of the community
• Use of the facilities to be affordable in the long term

The facilities available for hire are:

The School Hall

This includes the use of AV facilities, tables, chairs and access to the disabled toilet. Please note, the school kitchen will not be available for use as it is beyond the school secure line. Facilities to make hot drinks and a refrigerator will be available in the community room.

The Activity Studio/Community Room 

This includes the use of the AV facilities,  tables, chairs, refrigerator and access to the disabled toilet. Facilities to make hot drinks and a refrigerator are available in the community room.

The School Playing Fields

If your community group would like to use these facilities outside of the stated hours, please enquire at the school office and we will endeavour to accommodate requests where we are able. The use by the community may include exercise classes, meetings, theatre groups, sports activities or other.

Consumption of alcohol, gambling and other related activities are not permitted. The school retains the right to refuse an activity based on suitability with the school’s ethos, aims and responsibilities for safeguarding.
