For every child at Springhead Park, music is experienced first hand. They are all given the opportunity to play an instrument. Each child takes away a personal perspective as learning, practising and playing music can help develop key personal attributes. The importance of perseverance when learning the pieces becomes challenging, practising to improve technique and expressing emotions when playing pre-written music or composing their own. Music is a joyful subject and every lesson should end with an achievement, big or small, which is celebrated at the end of class.
