History

At Springhead Park, our history curriculum inspires the children’s curiosity about the past and fuels their knowledge of both local and world events. Our children learn about their own personal history, that of the local area, and of the wider world. Enquiry led learning and practical hands-on experiences enhance the learning and enable the children at Springhead Park to leave us with a rich knowledge and skills base. In addition to this, their knowledge of historical time periods, and skills in research and debate, provide them with a clear picture of how history has influenced the world in which we live today.
