Safeguarding
We take our responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare and wellbeing of all the children entrusted to our care very seriously. We have a safeguarding team, made up of specially trained staff, who will be happy to discuss any safeguarding or child protection concerns or queries you may have.
Our school is a community and all those directly connected (staff, governors, parents, families and pupils) have an essential role to play in making it safe and secure. We are committed to making every check and asking every question, however awkward, to ensure the safety and protection of the children in our care.
We recognise the importance of providing a school culture and environment that helps children feel safe, secure and respected; confident to approach trusted adults and talk openly; and enable them to feel assured that they will be listened to and their concerns and questions acted on. We also welcome any suggestions and comments that will contribute to the process.
