School Opening Times

 

The school day at Springhead Park Primary starts at 8:50am, when our register closes and Ends at 3:20pm for Reception and Key Stage 1 and 3:30pm for Key Stage 2 and Nursery. This means that the total number of hours the school is open is 32 hours and 30 minutes per week in Reception and Key Stage 1 and 33 hours and 20 minutes Key Stage 2.

 

We open the school gates and classrooms from 8:35am to 8:50am to allow parents and carers the chance to drop children iwithout the pressure of a set time. This also allows parents to drop their children throughout the time period, easing congestion. 

 

At the end of the school day (3:20 and 3:30pm), children are collected from the same place by a familiar adult.

 

We will only release children to adults who have been named by the child's parents or carers and recognised by your child.

IF SOMEONE NEW IS PICKING UP YOUR CHILD, YOU MUST INFORM THE SCHOOL OFFICE
