Monday 8th June
What a fantastic second day we've had on residential! We started the morning with a delicious pancake breakfast, which gave us plenty of energy for the exciting day ahead. Our first activity was pedal cars, where the children showed great determination (and a competitive spirit!) as they raced each other around the track. Next came climbing, and we were incredibly proud to see so many children stepping out of their comfort zones and facing their fears to reach new heights.
After refuelling with pizza for lunch, the afternoon was packed with adventure. The children tested their aim in archery before working together brilliantly during our rafting session, demonstrating excellent teamwork and resilience. After all that excitement, we enjoyed a comforting macaroni cheese dinner before finishing the day with a disco. There was lots of laughter, dancing and singing, with everyone joining in enthusiastically—especially when Sweet Caroline came on! It has been another wonderful day full of fun, friendship and memories that will last a lifetime.
