Staff Development Day

• Sitting Volleyball

  On Monday 28th February, a group of children from Orca Class travelled to Dartford to take part in a Sitting Volleyball festival. They learnt how to play the game and by the end of the session, were playing 6 minute games against other schools. The children demonstrated excellent sportmanship, played effectively as a team, worked cooperatively with children from other schools in the area and, most importantly enjoyed themselves. 

   

  We were incredibly proud of the way the children demonstrated our school values during this event. Courage, joy, curiosity, creativity and empowerment were shown by all children involved and made the event enjoyable and rewarding for all. 

  

• We are going to hatch some ducklings!

• World Book Day

  To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 3^rd March, children at Springhead Park Primary School are invited to dress up as a character from their favourite book. 

  We would love to see homemade costumes and do not expect parents to go to the expense of buying new ones. This will be a fun-filled occasion, bursting with literature based activities throughout the day!
