Chartwells Healthy Eating Event
Mon 28 Feb 2022We are really pleased to share with you that Chartwells our School Caterers will be running Healthy Eating Workshops with all our pupils as part of our PSHE Curriculum.
Pupils will be attending a Healthy Eating Assembly on 28th February 2022 which will then be followed by Healthy Eating Workshops that will be taking place throughout the rest of the week.
On the 28th February 2022 from 2.30pm-3.00pm, Chartwells will be running a Parent/Carer Taster Healthy Eating Event. Chartwells representatives will discuss the benefits of a balanced diet, the nutritional value of our school dinners and explain the government guidelines that they adhere to. Parent/Carers will then be able to sample a small selection of school dinners and collect a number of healthy, child friendly recipes to take home with them.

Cancelled Wrap Around Care - After School Club
Tue 18 Jan 2022Due to positive covid cases within our school setting affecting both children and staff we have had to review our wrap around care offered to your family.
After seeking advice from NHS and concerns with our wrap around care cross bubbling, with a heavy heart, we have taken the decision to cancel after school club wrap around care – starting tomorrow, Tuesday 18th January ’22 until Friday, 21st January ‘22. However, if we see a rise in positive cases this may continue into next week, but we will notify you by 4pm on Friday if this is to be the case so you are able to make alternative child care arrangements.
Breakfast Club to continue as normal.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you as a family, but the health and safety and wellbeing of our school community is paramount.
Thanking you in advance for all your help and support on this matter.
